Refund & Exchange Policy
Sophia Closets Studio – Refund & Exchange Policy
1. Custom-Made Products
Because our closets, cabinetry, and storage solutions are custom-designed and manufactured to client specifications:
- Custom-made products are non-refundable.
- Custom-made products are non-exchangeable once production has commenced.
- Orders cannot be canceled after production begins.
2. Design Services
Consultation Services
- Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been completed.
- Appointments canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled time may be rescheduled.
Design Services
- Design deposits are non-refundable once design work has commenced.
- Any completed design work remains the property of Sophia Closets Studio until full payment is received.
3. Project Cancellations
If a project is canceled after approval:
- Design fees already incurred are non-refundable.
- Materials already ordered or manufactured will be charged in full.
- Any applicable refund will be calculated after deducting completed work, purchased materials, and administrative costs.
4. Damaged or Defective Products
If a product arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing defect:
- The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or installation.
- Photographs and supporting documentation may be required.
- Upon verification, Sophia Closets Studio may provide repair, replacement, or another suitable solution at its discretion.
5. Installation Issues
Any installation-related concerns must be reported within 7 days of installation completion so they can be properly assessed and resolved.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are generally not available for custom-made products.
In exceptional cases, exchange requests may be reviewed at our sole discretion and may be subject to additional charges.
7. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued through the original payment method whenever possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
8. Force Majeure
Sophia Closets Studio shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or losses resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, supplier disruptions, transportation delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
